Interesting New Language Project
I have a lot of interest in functional programming languages, namely Scheme and its varient, Dylan. Imagine my excitement, then, to discover that one of the original Harlequin (nee Functional Objects) developers had gone of and combined the two!
There are a lot of interesting ideas here, including a rather innovative dynamic system of compilation that seems to combine the best of the Common Lisp/Smalltalk "image" concept with the more modular compilation units used by other language implementations
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the source release -- under a real "Open Source" license (unlike some other new source releases I can think of (*cough*-rotor-*cough*).
